Teachers Finally Have Help Teaching Writing
Teacher's manuals are available for reading, math, science, & history, but what about writing? Teachers are expected to teach students to write, but they are not given tools to complete the task. This creates more work and often frustrates teachers. In addition, while attending college to earn a teaching degree, there are no courses that teach teachers how to teach students to write.
The Write Bright program was developed to solve this problem. It is a curriculum created by a teacher, for teachers. Teachers are now able to log-on, pull up a lesson, and teach. Each lesson plugs into a script that guides the teacher through the lesson. The lessons are projected straight from the website and require no teacher preparation. Student writing packets are available for printing & copying to help students improve on the 6 traits of writing.
To top things off, student videos are also online to help build creativity in students. Teachers simply click the video of their choice & let the students learn.
